The first 3 Stinkmixes were constructed with Angus McNaughton at Incubator Studios for use in breaks at Stinky Jim’s Chillout Chamber at the BDO, so number four was the scene setter for the next bunch. Heavy into the op shopping purchases and spunking all my spare cash away on Dusty Grooves orders and the rest this mix exemplifies those vibes.
A lot of my DJ sets were of this ilk around that time with dusty old dollar purchases rubbing up against the freshest ferment out of UK, JA, NYC etc etc This early millennium biz stands up pretty good in retrospect, Little Rabbits Purple Penguin remix still hits like jackhammer and it’s the only time you’ll hear me playing Black Eyed Peas for sure.
